Peter Instant buy. First few tracks showcase fantastic retrosynth. Hard, heavy, great beat for running. Favorite track: Schwarzenegger.

sennin A slow burn at first for sure, but “Flamingo Drive-In” has become one of my all time favorite retro synth records. Impeccable style that would’ve fit perfectly on the GTA: Vice City soundtrack.

There are so many bomb tracks on this record and I’ve yet to hear an album that struck such a perfect balance between heavy synth and its lighter variants. Just look at the juxtaposition between “Escape from Budapest” and “I’ve Got You”. A fucking burner of a record and one of my favorite album covers ever to boot. Favorite track: Cocktails & Dreams.

Stewart Lawrence III Damn, this album starts off like the Stranger Things intro learned how to shred guitar and then moves into some heavy hitting 80's inspired magic Favorite track: Schwarzenegger.

about

March 18th, 1985

You have arrived at your destination.

This is Flamingo Drive-In.

The neon lights at the synthwavers new favorite hangout spot are buzzing in the background, rollerskating waitresses, ocean breeze and cool sportcars parking in the sunset while Quixotic's music blasting through the speakers. The menu consisted of many more items than just his famous hit "Palms", each track tells a story on its own, new adventures and many classics tweaked to their full potential, a uniquely diverse soundtrack back from the future. Quixotic's journey through the synth waves now have reached its destination and waiting for you to be a part of it at Flamingo Drive-in.
